This is a blocked knitted patch which reads ABOLISH ICE across three lines (as “ABOL” then “ISH•” and then “•ICE”). It is based on the chart shared to the right. It is a stockinette with text written in black ink over a dusty lavender background. The blocking is done using standard pins, and recycled cardboard covered with a towel.

This is a chart to create a patch which reads ABOLISH ICE across three lines, as “ABOL,” “ISH•,” and “•ICE.” The chart has a 19x21 grid. Text above the grid reads, “cast on 19 stitches.” The odd rows have a “K” for knit on the left side of each. The even rows have a “P” for purl to the right. Text under the chart reads, “cast off & weave in ends.” This patch is stockinette and can be created with various needle sizes and weights. In the video we see ones made with 4 (medium weight) yarn and 4mm needles.

day 1148: tried wet blocking today’s patch with some cardboard, pins, and a towel. Now to wait for it to dry! 🩵

Has anyone in the #knitsky network make this #lovecablecardigan?

I was looking into using #weareknitters #bulkyyarn but the reviews online are damning.

Would love to hear any opinions before I dive in!
