Goombella
Debut: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Attack: Stiletto Stomp

Type: Balanced
Speed: 6/10
Power: 4/10

A close friend of Mario's who joined him on his romp through Rogueport. A top graduate in archaeology from the University of Goom, she moved in with her professor to research all sorts of mysteries and treasure, the most pressing of which were the elusive Crystal Stars and the Thousand-Year Door. She's sweet, but also very snarky, and you definitely don't wanna get on her bad side. While she has no arms, she makes do in the Spikers League by using a Goomba's Stiletto with wings! Stiletto Stomp is her main attack, where she stomps on the ground to create a shockwave. Her Super Spike is Crystal Shoe, which has her shoe shine a crystal light, before she spikes the ball down with a hardy stomp!
Koops
Debut: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Attack: Shell Shock
Super Spike: Diamond Shell
Type: Speed
Speed: 9/10
Power: 3/10
Pass: 4/10
Spike: 5/10
One of the friends Mario made on his journey to collect the Crystal Stars, Koops hails from Petalburg, which was ravaged by the hungry Hooktail. When he was little, his father was swallowed, and he swore to exact revenge on Hooktail for not just his father, but to prove his own worth too. Koops is a speedy team player who can play many positions effectively, though his power is a bit lacking. His Shell Shock attack is an electrically-charged shell spin that takes some time to set up, but shoots him lightning fast and shrinks anyone he hits! Diamond Shell is his Super Spike, where he leaps into the air and his shell becomes completely diamond! He spins right into the ball after that, sending it flying down.
Madame Flurrie
Debut: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Attack: Gale Force
Super Spike: Emerald Flash
Type: Defensive
Speed: 2/10
Power: 6/10
Pass: 10/10
Spike: 9/10
Flurrie was once a star actress on the stage, and loved having the spotlight on her. When the hustle and bustle of the fast life got too much for her though, she moved to a nice house on the edge of Boggy Woods, and became good friends with the Punies. It wouldn't be long until she craved for the spotlight once more, and after an adventure with Mario, she picked her career right back up! With three Mushroom awards to her name, Flurrie gets the crowd riled up when she's on the court! Gale Force lets her push opponents away, which does no damage, but can be super annoying for foes. And her Super Spike, Emerald Flash, has her glow a green aura before a flash of light appears around her, spiking the ball!
Vivian
Debut: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Attack: Fiery Jinx
Super Spike: Ruby Flame
Type: Defensive
Speed: 4/10
Power: 8/10
Pass: 7/10
Spike: 2/10
Vivian was once a member of the Shadow Sirens, whose goal was to help the X-Nauts take the map from Mario to open the Thousand-Year Door. She wasn't treated very well though, with her elder sister Beldam constantly berating and misgendering her, making her feel unloved and useless. It wasn't until Mario showed her the kindness she was never given to have her switch sides, becoming a useful ally on his quest! Among her abilities are fire attacks, which is where Fiery Jinx comes into play. With a wave of her finger, any foes around her will explode in flame, setting them on fire. She leaps to the spikes for her Super Spike, Ruby Flame, and charges a massive red fireball to blast the ball with!
LOTS of Spikers for today's repost - all seven party members from #PaperMario #TTYD! They were all added January 2021 but I redrew each of them during the week leading up to the 2024 remake's release. It was super fun
