A spread from Book of Masks, a book featuring all the masks from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, illustrated by @frayed-symphony.bsky.social. This spread focuses on the Great Fairy's Mask, the left hand page having a small description for it with the mask name in big letters. Xenoblade Compendium / layout
When @kamaniki.art asked me if I wanted to design for an artbook, I said: "yes, but only if the artists can submit pieces in whatever format they like, so I can put it all together like a puzzle."

Two copies of Xenoblade Chronicles Compendium side by side, one with the dust jacket off, the other with the dust jacket on. VIDEO GAMES IN LATVIA To explore and capture the different experiences of the Gaming community in Latvia The beginnings, the recent years, everything in between A wide range of people interviewed for content, from enthusiast to gamedev to event organizer (and others!) (to the right of the text is a moodboard of various inspirations for the book, featuring excerpts from old gaming magazines as well as other similar books focused on video game culture)
A slide showing the timeline of the book being from the 1980s to modern day, with each of the colors: red, blue, green, yellow being assigned to different type of people interviewed -- enthusiasts, gamedevs, event organizers & other respectively. The visual concept of the book relies on each memory & story shared being captured in a pixel all of it coming together to tell the history of the Latvian gaming community.
Mock ups of each section's beginning pages, each assigned its own color with a diecut.
gonna impromptu share this concept of a book i did for school last year ... honestly looking back on this. this is so cool and i hope it will be real. someday. i hope. (i designed like 70 pages of it even though the assignment only asked for 20. LOL)
