Couple art: when I get the pose right, the feelings are wrong. When I get the feeling right the pose feels wrong.

Reading a fanfiction for a commission and the thing I am most impressed is, is the poetry of how some wisdom is conveyed.

Honestly, it was refreshing not logging into social media for a while. And to keep up with everyone's art, deck blue helps a lot. 😊 I would not want to leave it open all the time (overwhelming) but for summarising? Beautiful.

Most of the „wait until free“ webtoons I read turn somewhat stale after a while. But sometimes there are those like „love tractor“ which you start with no expectations and then they turn out to be little gems. Episode 23 had me feeling so suffocated, the imagery was so good.

Went to a park today with my friend. We wanted to draw the scenery but sadly we were a bit early season wise. The weather was beautiful anyway and I had a really good time! 😊
Afterwards we went shopping and for food. It somehow turned into both (!) of us yapping about Noel and Julian.

A talk with my mom and her frustration in a KI filled world and scientists actually using it for research:

It's weird I feel bad about raising prices and feel the need to justify. One thing I can say is that even with the new prices, I would probably not even get minimum wage. I am SO slow.

Atelier Yumia sure is much darker than previous entries to the series.
The game itself feels different. It feels like it matured a bit.
Sure some complain that Alchemy feels less complex this time, but tbh: i take better story, better characters, better exploring over that all the time. (+) #lanyaps

Reading a study about how only 53% of the youths visiting a Gymnasium (High School) in Germany feel like they have enough time to live out their own creativity is just sad. HIgh School was the time when I think I had most time to develop my hobby and try out stuff.

It’s astonishing to me that commission prices despite the huge inflation are LESS than 10 years ago. Is it the bigger competition? Or the AI‘s fault? It’s sad people need to sell at least a day’s work and lifetime’s work of practice for an hourly wage that can’t even buy a loaf of bread 😭

One advice for any artist I have which I got from my law prof when studying illustration a few years ago:
"Never work without signing a contract."
A contract is a sign of mutual trust.
Also: In said contact you need to clearly define the "usage rights" you give. (1/4)
