Does anyone recommend any exercises to help develop free hand perspective drawings? I mostly struggle if there's a vanishing point that's off the page. I understand the concept, but in practice I'm just terrible at it, haha.

It's good to do work even if you don't have total understanding. By "doing" here, I'm talking about the experience gained just by doing the physical act of drawing or painting. So, even if you don't fully understand what you're doing...draw anyway!
