BTW, they also recommended tire foam inserts usually used by mountain bikers, because it's very hard for me to switch out a tube or change a flat. I've even paid for individual classes. Being #learningdisabled is very expensive. The inserts will save the tire until I make it to a safe space.

On UK #welfare and work plans, if govt wants to get economically inactive adults in work, it could also look at these facts:
- just 5% of #autistic and/or #learningdisabled adults have work
- 65% want work
- supported employment schemes are in shreds

In court last week two psychiatrists gave reasons why 'these people' should not be admitted to psychiatric wards, wilfully missing the point. These changes would make it worse IMO.
I feel it's the #NotFullyHuman othering that we've always seen for #LearningDisabled people being spread further. I suspect those 'professionals' have hierarchies of 'deserving' written throughout their core, as much as their supposed 'constant dynamic risk assessment' powers.
