A snippet of text, reading: They weren’t trapped. They were test subjects. Arashi rose to her feet again, banging on the glass. “It won’t work!” Lyse cried. “That glass is designed to stop a Primal dead in its tracks, you won’t be able to break it with anything in here!” “Then what would you suggest?!” Arashi snapped. “Is there any way to turn that thing off from here?” Lyse shook her head, eyes blurring with tears. “No! It’s plugged in on the other side of the lab, and with the Light aether as bad as it is, you wouldn’t make it without taking in enough of the stuff to corrupt your aether completely!” Lyse backed away until she was against the closest wall, quivering and pale. But if I don’t, we both suffer a fate worse than death. With terrible certainty, Arashi realised what she needed to do. “Lyse?” Arashi called out. Lyse looked at her, despairing and terrified. “Don’t waste this chance I’m giving you, okay? You get out and you find out who did this to us. Then you bring them down. Make sure they never hurt anyone else.” Realisation flooded Lyse’s face as Arashi turned to face her fate. “No! Don’t you dare, Arashi! Don’t you leave me alone!” She tried to grab Arashi’s wrist, but Arashi shook herself free. “Please,” Lyse’s voice nearly broke entirely. Arashi didn’t look back. Looking back would shatter her resolve entirely. She took one step forward, then another. I’m sorry, Sanda. Alisaie. Yotsuyu. May you live your lives to the fullest.
LRP: Thinking about an early bit in Wheels of Thunder that was the first Big Clue about the reveal to come later. Arashi truly can't help herself.

Haurchefant and Tender fell fast and hard for each other, and would have been wed if Haurchefant had survived the Vault. But he did not, and Tender carried that grief with her all the way to EW. Only in the Aitiascope does she get to move on after one last reunion.

A snippet of text, reading: “No, no, nononononono- SHITE!” Arashi fell to the dirt with a dull thud and a cloud of dust, the last of her strength deserting her in an undignified instant. Her blade clattered beside her, then melted back into its sheath a moment later. She struggled to get her arms under her, only for her limbs to be full of water instead of muscle and bone. All she could do was lay in the dirt, staring off to the side, and curse herself. At least she was alone in her garden. Small mercies.
Well, with The Distraction well and truly vanquished and my schedule freed up, it's time for me to get to that Wheels of Radiance chapter I put off to finish it off!

Buscarron found her based on the tip of a young miqo'te woman that Arashi inadvertedly rescued from bandits the night before. He offered her a choice to do more with herself than be a wandering, suicidal drunk. To her surprise, she took the offer.

Arashi is usually very easy to seduce. Usually. This does not apply to fights, where she has had to deal with very unpleasant (but very hot) beings trying to beguile, bewitch, or downright seize control of her mind on the regular. She'd be flattered but she WILL put you down.

A lot of my pieces are based around a chestpiece I particularly like, building the glam around it to fit. I tend to go for monochromatic designs, with other colours used for accents. Consistency across the glam is key. Gotta slay in style.

Arashi doesn't have many for her partners (aside from "Tsuyu" for Yotsuyu), but she'll get called "my silly little lizard" (Lyse), "little storm/eagle" (Yotsuyu), "my heart/my soulmate" (Kasumi), and "my champion" (Venat). Alisaie hasn't found a good nickname for her yet.

The Ultima Thule battle left Arashi in a bad way for quite a while, leading to Sanda, Fareena and Tender tackling some things (6.1 MSQ and Sil'dihn Subterrane) without her. She spent that time recuperating in her new home and regaining her strength. Also teaching.

In the end, Arashi was raised to be a weapon and a weapon exists to cut. She does not relish it, but she will do what is necessary.
