Lou Reed album Berlin propped up against my stereo shelf which is surrounded by books and bric-a-brac and artwork. The album cover was conceived by Pacific Eye & Ear. The first lyrical lines of the title track are handwritten on tbe bottom left: 'In Berlin, by the wall you were five foot ten inches tall It was very nice candlelight and Dubonnet on ice We were in a small cafe you could hear the guitars play It was very nice it was paradise' A photo of Reed with a guitar standing between the two main characters of the concept album is upper-centre. A collage of the characters in the songs make up the neutral/tan background.
