La version Mac de Cyberpunk 2077 sera disponible le 17 juillet sur Steam et le Mac App Store La sortie de Cyberpunk 2077 sur Mac approche. Annoncé en octobre 2024 pour une sortie début 2025, on était depuis quelque temps sans nouvelles de ce portage. CD Projekt Red a confirmé que la version Mac arriverait le 17 juillet sur le Mac App Store, Steam, l’Epic Games Store et sa propre plateforme Good Old Games. Cyberpunk 2077. Capture Steam Pour rappel, ce jeu des créateurs de la saga The Witcher est un RPG à la première personne nous invitant à explorer la ville futuriste de Night City. Le titre arrivera sur Mac dans son Ultimate Edition incluant la seule extension du jeu, baptisée Phantom Liberty. Le titre a été optimisé pour toutes les puces Apple Silicon, allant de la série M1 aux récentes M4. Il faudra toutefois 16 Go de RAM pour le faire tourner, ce qui laisse sur le bas-côté quelques modèles M1/M2 d’entrée de gamme. Des préréglages seront disponibles pour toutes les configurations, et les machines les plus récentes pourront profiter de certaines nouveautés comme du path tracing, une technologie de lancer de rayon pour des éclairages plus réalistes. CD Projekt Red a fait les choses bien, prenant en charge la Magic Mouse et le Magic Trackpad ainsi que l’audio spatial. L’upscaling via Metal FX est également au programme pour de meilleures performances, tout comme la prise en charge du HDR sur les écrans compatibles. Ce portage arrive alors que Cyberpunk 2077 vient de recevoir sa mise à jour 2.3, qui ajoute un mode photo et différents véhicules. La progression sera enregistrée dans le nuage et disponible sur toutes les plateformes, ce qui sera pratique pour récupérer une ancienne partie. Le jeu sera amélioré cet automne à la sortie de macOS 26, qui ajoute du neuf pour MetalFX.
