a rough couple sketch of Marco from One Piece with my OC Luly. They're in a half embrace, Luly standing at the front, slightly leaning back and holding up a little chocolate heart that says 'For Marco'. He is staring at a huge bouquet of mostly white flowers and some greenery Marco got for him, and he seems pretty emotionally shaken by it, having huge, shiny eyes, a wobbly mouth and many hearts around his head. Marco is standing behind him, one arm around Luly, hand touching Luly's neck and face as he leans over to kiss him ontop of the head. In the other hand he's holding the bouquet.
I rly didn't have much time or energy for art today, but I managed something at least.

Panel 1) Marco and Luly (my OC) are sitting on a couch in a cozy setting. They're sitting close to each other and Luly leans a little against Marco. They're both holding alcohol and Luly is laughing "Fa Fa Fa!" Marco's hand is in Luly's hair, kinda ruffling it. Marco teases Luly using a nickname Luly hates but it doesn't have the usual effect. Dialogue reads: "You're in such a mood tonight, Hwueh!" Luly: "Fafafa~ I'm just enjoying myself, Marco!" Marco: "Huh. No reaction? Must be serious". Panel 2) Different angle, Luly is closer to the camera, he's side eyeing Marco who's now located slightly behind him, mid motion as he's holding the bottle of alcohol close to his face. Luly looks smug, flirty and a little drunk. Luly says: "Wanna know how serious? A song comes to mind." Marco answers: "Sure. Let's hear it!" (Luly is a conductor and music themed)
Panel 3) Same angle as before, but Luly is singing, holding his right hand elegantly to his chest as his left hand holds up his wineglass. His eyes are closed as he sings the words "I can't wait for you to bend me over tonight!". Marco is visibly shocked, snapping his head towards Luly who usually never uses such language and he's spilling his drink all over himself. Panel 4) The last panel is showing the two from a zoomed out angle, seeing more of the room and the soft couch they're sitting on. Marco is bent over sitting with the bottle (hand stil lholding onto it) resting on his right knee, other hand resting on his left knee. His hair is wet and dripping from the alcohol he spilled. Luly is next to him now, curled up and laughing his ass off, dry wheezing in amusement
Wine makes him shameless
Lul is usually very proper and composed. Noble-like even. It makes being direct and a lil crude SO much more effective when he's flirting with Marco.

Saw this on Tumblr and this is basically a dramatic version of how Luly feels about marco at that time when he's aware of Marco's feelings for him and Luly loves him back, but he's been so hurt in the past it becomes a spiral of overthinking emotions. Luckily marco is patient. #malul

With #malul marco does offer cuddles and physical contact more often since it's difficult for Luly to ask for touches, even when he rly needs it for comfort. But once they're already close I think it's mostly Luly who initiates further intimacy and who has the higher drive.
