I decided to let myself be distratced by a game jam for November ( #GitHubGameOff ). Making the 2d waves is fun, as is re-learning #pixijs, #matterjs, #peerjs.

The goal is to make a #p2p #pvp game where you fire cannons at each other. Like Scorched Earth / Worms + Sea of Thieves.

I spent my free time the last 2 days trying to better understand #matterjs in the @phaser.io engine.

I'm really happy I've got a semi-realistic Composite for the player riding a unicycle.

For scoring I want to add a "Clap-o-meter" - the more airtime you get, the more applause.

matter.jsのサンプルプログラムがオブジェクト指向で作られてるから、関数プログラミングになおしてみた。しらん人はこんな関数の設計するんやと思って見たらええわ。

再利用できるものを意識して分けて作ってあるのでオブジェクト指向よりは可読性とメンテナンスはしやすいと思うよ。なぜかというとoopは冗長になりやすいからね。

お陰で簡単なmatter.jsの使い方はわかったよ。 #p5js #matterjs #javascript

Made a little sandbox for fun to see if I could make SNOW work in Phaser
(It's 25C/77F here in NZ, so snow is not happening for me 😂 )
