Soms duikt een verhaal keer op keer op in je tijdslijn. Ook al ken ik het door en door, ik lees het altijd omdat het zo mooi is. Zo zag ik daarnet het verhaal van Oswald Laurence, die eind jaren zestig ‘Mind the Gap’ insprak voor de Northern Line. Toen hij in 2007 stierf, bezocht zijn vrouw regelmatig het perron van Embankment om zijn stem te horen. In 2012 klonk hij niet meer door het vernieuwde omroepsysteem. Gelukkig dook het personeel van Transport for London in de archieven, vond de oude banden, restaureerde en digitaliseerde ze. Eind goed al goed.

Listening to some old songs. It's painful watching this video (the drumming). Had a frozen right shoulder at that time, and couldn't raise my right shoulder for about 6 months. Song turned out ok though. ;)
