SNP looking to introduce alcohol-style minimum pricing for tobacco The introduction of minimum pricing for cigarettes and other tobacco products is being considered by SNP ministers in the latest bid to tackle smoking rates.

Critics of #MUP for #alcohol now criticising MUP for #tobacco, favouring 'educating children on the dangers of alcohol or smoking' instead.

Funnily enough, that's the preferred intervention of #BigAlcohol & #BigTobacco - because it's least effective!!
