I usually start with enrichment and investigation and progress at the dogs’ pace from there .
I start without food and then once the dog is relaxed add different treats.

A malinois mix with one floppy ear is sitting, wearing a black rubber muzzle, and looking off to the viewer’s right.
Any suggestions for fun things to do in a muzzle that isn’t eating? I’m all ears.
Her fave thing (after food & attention) is playing fetch… kind of a no-go with a face cage on (I often take her out to play fetch right after taking the muzzle off tho).
