Why @nativescript.bsky.social doesn't have a similar solution to @shadcn.com components in #nativescript, same building blocks that rely on <GridLayout> and other ns components?

Or maybe there is some solution i havent heard of?

In my Tic Tac Toe app, I used NativeScript’s animate() API for all animations - it gives smooth, logic-tied transitions as it runs JS thread. Many animations can cause frame drops or memory buildup, and need manual cleanup to avoid leaks or OOM errors.

Built my last project with Flutter after getting rid of #Nativescript. But checking out #Expo this morning and it looks pretty straight forward. Anyone had any issues/experience with it?
I don't want to think its the solution to everything if it has the same issues as #Flutter.

Gave up on #nativescript. #flutter is the new go, so seeing what I can push out. Hopefully I can mostly bootstrap the app this weekend to get it out into test.

#nativescript app is up and running. Took a while to figure out Android emulators want a specific ip address to represent local host but that's all sorted now.

Now to work out some form elements and views and start testing.

Good progress so far.

Never done a mobile app before, for Auth, Im assuming i do it on the API backend side and just send that up to the frontend (mobile app)? Or do i have to do some fancy passing of JWT?

Ended up firing up #fastapi, going to try get all the endpoints up this week to then start building the #nativescript apps.

Never built production python or native app so this will be a nice learning opportunity

Devs: small reminder to be really skeptical of cross-platform compilation software.
#NativeScript for example has been the worst software experience. It solved some short term problems, but caused more long term..
