Yellow bellwort flowers. The flowers are yellow and bell shaped and are on tall stalks with long thin green leaves.
So the trilliums I bought were actually yellow bellwort and were mislabeled, nursery offered a refund but I can't find my receipt and honestly yellow bellwort was on my wish list anyway so I'm just gonna keep them. They'll look like this eventually.

This #nativewildflower is what is called a hemiparasite -- meaning that it photosynthesizes like most plants, but also parasitizes the roots of graminoids (grasses/sedges/rushes).
