Text: Am I trans? No. Do I know trans people? Yes. Do I believe someone can feel they've been born into the wrong body? Yes. Do I believe some people don't identify as either male or female? Yes. Do I believe some people feel quite fluid in their gender identity? Yes. Does it harm me, believing all this? No. Do trans people harm you because they're trans? No. How many trans and non-binary people you know? Have you formed your opinion from personal experience or from what you have read in the media? The UK media suggests that trans women just want access to women's toilets in order to rape women and eat babies. You're getting them confused with predators. Predators will still exist. Most predators are straight men. No one I know has transitioned 'for an easy life', or because they felt they weren't getting enough verbal and physical abuse in the street already. They simply want to be their authentic selves. And it's not harming you. The UK Supreme Court made the wrong decision today. We just took a step closer to 1930s Germany.
