What a week. Town is evacuated. We are surrounded by a wildfire. The smoke is so thick up here, I can taste it.

But I LITERALLY just bought a new US flag for the Minnesota guys that own the cabin next to mine! I'm putting up a flagpole for them as soon as the frost is out of the ground up here (probably end of May).

That's one of the drawbacks of living in the low people-density/high resource-density parts of the 2nd largest nation on Earth.
Clean air, no traffic, true sense of community and great fishing in largely untouched wilderness, though.... Priceless.

It'd indeed be nice to have a Canadian provider who could offer the service, but unless you are aware of a hyper-wealthy Canadian Bond Villian that I'm not.... I'm going to have to stick with Starlink.
