As I encountered this twice now:
Judy's Magic Cast On is a double-sided cast on NOT a provisional cast on. Obviously you can put one side of that cast on on hold while working the other side but it's still not a provisional cast on.

It's always worth your time and effort to smooth out your grading, especially if it makes the numbers more logical.
E.g.: differences between sizes should move in one direction (increasing or decreasing) and not wiggle around.

It's your decision how wide your size range is but 13 cm between size XS and size 2XL *is too small*.

It's always a good idea to use very clear labelling of your documents to keep track of different versions of your pattern. It makes it easier to always work with the most recent one 😉

If you copy parts of an old pattern to save time (yay for that!), please check that you changed *all* numbers to those for the new design.

If you don't have even or odd stitch counts for *all* sizes and those are important for your instruction, you might need to split your sizes for the instructions.
Alternatively you can make all stitch counts even *or* odd.

If your pattern file is unusually large, check the size of all pictures and charts you added. Sometimes curious things happen with those 😉

When making a chart don't forget to really remove those stitches you just decreased, it might affect your row/round count too.
