At #OSM26, Helen Powey presents a novel two-way coupled ecosystem model (ERSEM–MIZER) for the NW European Shelf. By linking plankton, benthos & fish, the work reveals how fishing & climate change reshape the entire food web, and why one-way models miss key ecosystem dynamics.
