(Though he’s my sona, Terra’s lore doesn’t reflect my irl experiences parental figures wise in any way) Background: Terra, a natural born Oni from palehearth, a rose forest realm within the hellish branch of the universe. Though Palehearth is one of the nicer more forested and less scorched realms of the hellish branch, danger exists still. Terra’s parents raised him to 5 years before falling to dangerous apex predator creatures, a lifelong fear that etched their visage into the Oni child’s deepest memories and core. He survived the harsh forest land well enough, but not without struggle up to being taken in by a clan of Apebats. Terra lived in improved comfort and safety to his current age having become an adventurer with his sister who grew up from his found Apebat family. Growing up, Terra adapted to aspects of the clan life as well as building a passion for discovery and learning about wildlife. They both studied for the 5 year span to become licensed independent adventurers. Gender: Male Species: Rose Oni Height: 6’1 Age: Adult Oni age Abilities: travel and tome magic. Travel magic is his skill in teleportation between universes, Tome is a portable book dimension bound to a lightweight eye stone in his left pauldron. Physiology: Oni mainly with varying amounts of hybridization of other creatures granting Terra their traits and powers.
Background: Ephrys of the Apebat clan in Palehearth, she was born from her parents quite like many others. Unlike the usual families within this clan, a Rose Oni child was adopted into her household and grew up with her as her brother. During her time growing up, she studied many kinds of medicine brewing and the complex ingredients knowledge. Both she and her brother taught each other sources of sustenance from near any environment. When of age, they spent the 5 years required schooling to become licensed independent adventurers. She travels with her brother to the day using her skills to support their journeys and discoveries. Species: Apebat (Four armed simian like cryptids of a status recognized as a people separate from being wildlife. Being part bat lies in their natural ability to see and hear perfectly in the dark. Gender: Female Age: Young Adult Apebat Age Height: 5’7 Abilities: Brewing health potions and knowledge of environmental food sourcing.
