Naptime Is For Raging Facebook post says Hy Vee jokes aside, I will never truly judge you for where you get your essentials. I came into adulthood cash poor, and I understand the choices that need to be made. That said, my challenge to all of us right now is to stop shopping for things we do not need. Borrow it. Barter. Trade with someone. Buy second hand. Check the buy nothing groups. Spend our money locally when possible. This isn't some new minimalist movement, though I would like to empty my house of all the junk we've previously consumed. There is almost no way to spend money in 2025 that isn't directly benefiting one asshole or another. So stop spending it. I'm already struggling with this, so please know I'm not here to judge anyone. This is just something I'm trying to do, that I thought I would share with you. But also we have to buy things like deodorant and tampons somewhere, and I never see that stuff on Etsy.
