Als viele Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten kein Rezept mehr erhalten konnten, wandten sie sich Heroin und nun Fentanyl zu – das etwa 50 Mal stärker wirkt als Heroin. Politisches Gespür Die in den Epizentren der Suchtkrise lebenden US-Amerikanerinnen und -Amerikaner neigen dazu, die Republikaner zu wählen. Ohne ihre Unterstützung wäre Trump niemals Präsident geworden. Trump und Vizepräsident J. D. Vance besitzen insofern ein Gespür für die Opioidepidemie, als sie die Ursache des Elends als politische Ressource betrachten, die gegen einen Feind ihrer Wahl eingesetzt werden kann …«

Das eigentliche Problem in den 🇺🇸 sind doch Opioide, nämlich dass jahrelang #Oxycontin gepusht wurde, die Menschen abhängig gemacht wurden, was dann erst den aktuellen Fentanyl-Hype ausgelöst hat.
Aber gebrandmarkt werden Impfungen und vergleichsweise harmlose Medikamente.
