The #DullKnifeFight took place on #ThisDayInHistory in 1876. US forces & #Pawnee allies attacked a #NorthernCheyenne village in present-day #Wyoming. With 40 warriors killed, #MorningStar (aka #DullKnife) called retreat. A village of 200 lodges was burnt and 700 animals stolen.
