Half of a formation that is semicirclular, with green and black surrounding the light blue oceanscape of larimar running in an arc across the center.
Betroydal larimar in a slice of a sepcimin. Instead of the wavy patterns per normal this is presented as pillowy clouds of light blue in the center of the geode like formation.
Mixed with an obvious copper secondary in green splotches, this split in half piece was originally cylindrical, and this shows its flat centers. The larimar itself is in the distinct clear blue water presentation that is very common. This is the deep blue of the carribean, caught forever in the stone.
A round nodule of larimar split in half like a clamshell, with the beautiful oceanic larimar in the center, overlapping light blue clouds of the mineral gives rocky beach and light blue water.

I’m in a pickle and only have myself to blame as I voted for both #Pectolite and #Haüyne in the opening round of #MinCup25. I still love both, but I’m tending towards the one foünd düe to volcanic (vülcanic?) processes. I’m open to persüasion, büt the bright blü ümlaüt is speaking tü me right now.

Okay #pectolite is pretty enough, but but #chrysotile somehow satisfied me more, in its place. I don't want a nice fluffy sample on my bedside table, and I don't want the fire retardant material in my walls. But I'm glad that it's on Earth. It can't make jewelry, not safely. But it looks nice to me

For some reason I thought this is about #Chrysolite and was about to vote for it because there's lots of lovely olivine here. Then I noticed my mistake and jumped ship and joined Team #Pectolite, just because #Chrysotile tried to trick me.
I’m voting for the luminescent mineral, #Pectolite. Unlike chrysotile, this mineral is not a big job creator, just a beautiful surprise eroding from cracks and voids of basalt.
Fe and V ions impersonate the color of the sea, and the radial growth leaves cloudy patterns in cabochons.

I voted for #Pectolite because (a) it (some varieties) is sky blue and (b) normal toxic minerals should be lick-it-and-die kind and not bring-your-jacket-from-work-and-everybody-around-will-die-it-terrible-way kind as for nasty #Chrysotile.
