A detailed grayscale image of Phobos, one of Mars' moons. The image shows its irregular shape, numerous craters, and surface streaks. Phobos is unusually dark and is expected to eventually crash into Mars. This image was taken by ESA's Mars Express mission and is detailed enough to assist in selecting landing sites for future missions.
