The shore at low tide at #PillarPoint, #Mavericks. #Princeton-by-the-Sea, CA. I usually refer to this area as belonging to Half Moon Bay because of HMB's proximity and size but Princeton-by-the-Sea is its own incorporated community. Avoid weekends as the beach area gets very crowded.

This is the exposed ocean floor at #PillarPoint, #HalfMoonBay, CA, at low tide. There are #TidePools everywhere. I'm always looking for nudibranchs but so far no luck. I found this beautiful #anemone.

Again at #PillarPoint at low tide to look for more #chitons. You can see the #foot in the center which looks just like the foot of a snail or slug and you can see the #gills run on both sides between the foot and the fleshy #girdle. I have no idea what the white object is - maybe another creature.

Pretty sure none from my waterproof camera are in focus (wow I actually really suck with it), so here’s above water of a super cute #nanaimodorid from #pillarpoint yesterday. A really nice couple tried to find a Hopkins rose again to show us but no luck. Next time!
