I moved my #Pine64 #quartz64 NAS to my #minirack !
I designed (using #FreeCAD) a 100% custom shelf for the power supply, the SATA controller and the SBC and 3D printed it.
This is the first time I design a 3D model! I don't even own a 3D printer! It's not perfect, but I'm happy with the result!

After a time, @opensuse.org mobile image finally get FDE for #Pine64 #Pinephone, we also has updated to Kernel 6.12 LTS
And I thought my #Rock64 had died and so I ordered a new one from #Pine64 only to find that what was broken was not the board itself but my power supply. 😒 Strange that I could see the system booting partially when I plugged in a serial console which is why I thought it was broken.
So it looks like this monster power bank I have that's capable of jumpstarting a car still works. I'm testing it by powering a #pine64 #SOQuartz board and so far it seems to be working well enough. I didn't use it for some time after using it to jumpstart my old car right before I sold it.

Tried out the @dietpi.com #PINE64 #Star64 distribution and it worked like a charm.
#dietpi offers a great set of tools and options to tune the board and OS during the initial system boot.

I'm working on a microkernel for the RISC-V 64-bit architecture using C23 as a learning exercise.
I've successfully output text via UART on both QEMU and actual hardware! 😊

My Gentoo PinePhone(Pro) overlay has been updated. It now features Megapixels 2 Alpha 1 and Phosh 46 im not 100% sure I can upate to phosh 47 when it will release, due to the fact that gnome on gentoo is always abit behind. I will keep you all updated on it.
