Haven't worn a #pointeshoe since 2003ish but I still have a big toenail that just randomly decides to detach at the root every few years after the most minor of toe-stubbings. It's currently completely bruised underneath & hanging on by a thread in the bottom left corner & detached everywhere else🩰
I'm not sure what was going on there, but we do not recommend eating your pointe shoes at DWM.
