Welcomed a new player to our Frostmaiden campaign that fit in nicely as we finished Tier 1 with a Big Boss fight against a buffed Sephik Kaltro.
Had a fun RP session for most of our Sat Moonshaes game.

Valentine's #DnD One-Shots wrapped for the year!
Last night, I ran Love Bites for a 2nd group for the 2nd night in a row after running A Perilous Joy Festival on Thursday. Somehow managed to kill two more PCs in last night's after everyone who could heal were Charmed. That's 7 in 5E. #ttrpg #proDM
Finally returned to my irregular #CallofCthulhu Order of the Stone #TTRPG campaign after a 2-month hiatus and started the second chapter. A much more traditional investigative section than the straight monster horror of part 1, but still lots of great moments. Back in two weeks for more! #ProDM

Had a really fun RP-heavy session this afternoon with my Frostmaiden crew, as they continued to try and find proof that Sephik Kaltro is a killer (I bumped that quest to higher level). Got to put the improv cap on to bring some humourous NPCs to life. Lots of laughs. Good times!

We were back to the Moonshaes tonight, as our adventurers completed their first adventure (The Library of Lethchauntos from Adventures in Faerun) and then walked out of the Library and into an ambush of Feywild Goblins to end the night! Bring on the misadventures of Level 3!

Finished up the Eberron: Quickstone #TTRPG campaign tonight with our heroes battling to keep a Daelkyr from escaping into the mortal realm. Borrowing the Refraction of Ilvaash stats from Phandelver & Below, the team stopped a Mind Flayer's ritual & the Refraction to save Droaam & the world!

First full session of Eclipse of the Earthmother, the new 2024 #DnD Moonshaes #TTRPG campaign I'm running, was tonight. Added two new players to the mix to round out the group and they continued exploring the Library of Lethchauntos. Butts were kicked on both sides, but the party prevailed! #ProDM
Party made it further into the Crypt of Talhund, but fled from the Hydra into a dead end. After defeating the Clay Golem defender, a Pass Without Trace helped them sneak past the Hydra again and meet up with Rivibiddel. Phandelver & Below continues to be a fun challenge for the crew!

Tonight's #TTRPG brings us back for more Phandelver & Below, as the party continues their exploration of the Crypt of Talhund. After a near-TPK in the first room, our party has rested up and is ready to try to go further in. We'll have to see how that goes. 😈👻😎

They went with the Moonshaes Isles option, which I called Eclipse of the Earthmother.
Now I'm mapping out possible arcs, locations & NPCs. I know @baldmangames.bsky.social did excellent #Moonshaes AL work. Recommendations?

Another successful #DnD One-Shot at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. Three new players took the D&D and #TTRPG plunge and had a good time with Gnome for the Holidays. Always fun introducing the hobby to new players!
Now, after six straight nights of games, this #ProDM needs a breather!

Tomb of Annihilation tonight as the party enters Omu & the penultimate Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone tomorrow as our heroes head to Sharaat Kol.

Tonight was the finale of Shadows of Atlantis for #AchtungCthulhu by @modiphius.bsky.social for the second of two #TTRPG campaigns I was running of it. Big finish saw our heroes win the day and stop the Nazis as Atlantis crumbled around them.
A very fun campaign. Hope to revisit 2d20 soon!

Not sure where you are, but being on the west coast often makes it harder to find games, too, as I’m still at work when the east coast folks are starting their games. But I’ve followed and will watch for opportunities to support a fellow #ProDM. :)
Wish I wasn’t running my own #ProDM game at the same time or I’d check it out. So hard to find One-Shots on StartPlaying, which is all I can usually commit to. Good luck getting the game to fire!
A move to Zoom due to illness didn't stop my Friday Phandelver & Below #TTRPG from having a great time getting their butts kicked & their brains vacuumed by an Intellect Snare. Their anguish as it healed from 35 to 75 HP over 2 turns Siphoning Thoughts was delicious.
They survived...barely.

As a Gamemaster I generally have three thoughts:
Sometimes I want my players to feel powerful
Sometimes I want my players to know there that danger lurks
Sometimes I just want my players to get though at least ONE encounter without their terrible dice rolls messing everything up!
