🎓 Cutting Pell Grants is Step 1 in the heist.

Students would need to take more credits (30 per year, up from 24) to qualify for a full grant. If you're working or a student attending college less than “half-time”? No Pell Grants for you. That’s not efficiency. That’s exclusion.

Pell grants from the US Department of Education must be protected. As a first generation college grad who came from a lower income family, I know firsthand the impact the program has on educational and economic opportunities for students. #protectpell
