Shout out to E. Burchfield and others. Without your fairly explicit #pyModis #github thread from 2015, it would have taken me another week to figure out how to download 18 years worth of #MODIS #VI data.

So, a few days ago I worked tirelessly to install #pyModis and all its dependencies. I got #wxPython up and running so I could use its GUI for downloading #MODIS data... and now #python is telling me wxPython GUI is unavailable.

It took all day, but I finally got #pyModis (and all its dependencies) installed. Learned some *very basic* stuff in Windows PowerShell. And now, perhaps, I'll be able to use the wxPython GUIs to download some VI data products.
