Queuing
I hate standing around waiting for things.
Which is like queuing, I hate that as well.
Sheer frustration is all it really brings
and is not something on which I will dwell.
Sweet anticipation might ease my plight.
But queue for your due, humiliation,
and goes against any basic human right.
Food and medicine queues need explanation.
We see the third world queue as a relief,
that they have received help from the whole world,
that they’ve finally received pause from grief.
We nod warmly, like it’s something they’ve earned.
But queue in a G seven hospital,
is not necessary nor expected
makes politicians more despicable,
with their responsibilities neglected.
We’ve paid taxes for services rendered,
yet those services are less than splendid,
so billionaires must now be indentured.
