After Christmas I was looking for ways to keep light around me. Somewhere in my doomscrolling I’d seen window clings that refracted light. I loved the idea of little rainbows moving around the room. So I put some up in my south facing living room and bedroom windows. As I suspected the rainbows make me happy. This has been a hard week and today I woke up feeling pretty awful. If I was advising a friend I’d tell them to take the day off. So I stayed in bed. And promptly spent most of the day giving myself a hard time. Then, about an hour ago, this gorgeous light show appeared on my wall. And that is when my finally heard the what the universe is telling me. “It is OK to rest”
