Our Rigging Professionals Have:
> Physical Stamina: Able to handle heavy lifting, manual labor, and work in outdoor environments.

> Basic Mechanical Knowledge: A basic understanding of cranes, rigging equipment, and heavy machinery.

In these roles, rigging professionals play an essential part in every stage of the lifting process. The positions also involves helping to secure loads to ensure they are properly balanced and stable before every lift. The front of a very ‘butch’ Landrover that has 2 eyebolts on the front. There is a ‘D’ shackle in each one.
The orientation of the eyebolts is vertical.
I have drawn a yellow arrow from one of the eyebolts & ‘D’ shackles that show a direct pull from one of the shackles. This is fine good practice.
I have then drawn 2 purple lines from each eyebolt, as if there was a double connection to them.
If that situation is happening the eyebolts are in the wrong orientation for that use.
It’s difficult to explain why it appears wrong to me.

I saw this ‘butch’ Landrover set up the other day and as someone that has done rigging it caused an ‘itch’ in the back of my head about something being wrong. Basically I think the eyebolts should be fixed horizontally.

Input from #Riggers #4x4 people would be appreciated.

Have you seen the New ASME and considered your Load Containers? The new standard tracks with other #rigging items. #Inspections required. #Riggers will be signing off on them. If you have torn up gear or it's not rated, you should get a hold of the #ASME and learn what you need to change. #crane
