Black Cat, who has since died, sitting beside a book she has yet to crack open, David Graeber's "The Hidden Truth of the World." I had asked her to read the essay "On the Phenomena of Bullshit Jobs" and determine where, as a cat, she sees herself. All she took away from it was that it was her job to call bullshit. She was good at that.
I think it's worth sharing that as I was doing some research this morning, I stumbled across a source called "Animals of Leisure Research."
Of course, I was just tired. It read "Annals of Leisure Research."
I remain interested, but less so.

My day began with me driving out to a local road (ten minutes after waking) where someone on Facebook reported a cat had been hit ... then blocking that road as I bagged/retrieved it. Taking it to a vet at 8am. Poor beggar will have to stay in my car's boot till then. #ripkitty
