THE NEW MUTANTS 87 - first appearance of Cable with cover art by Rob Liefield and Todd McFarlane .

I’ve always had a bit of a odd relationship with artist #RobLiefield . When I was in middle school, I’d usually be seated near this kid named Jay Stedman. He was a doodler who’d draw on his book, desk, work sheets, etc. They were pretty cool; he thought he was a massive talent. That’s Liefield.
