With no need of the paycheck, can you blame the man for avoiding franchises? In the interview, io9 asked why a major star such as Gosling who was has likely been offered more than one massive franchise role over the course of his career, but who turned them all down, finally accepted a role into one of Hollywood’s most notable franchises.
