It is disappointing to see that SLPs are more comfortable stamping down on chelation with risk of physical injury and death than speak out against #FC and #S2C which carries risk of physical injury and death and stolen voices. Why? They get bullied by other SLPs and parents and $$$ vested interests.

On the #TelepathyTapes - if echolalia is *never* “suboptimal AAC” (ie. is optimal in all cases for all people using echolalia to communicate) why do some parents and speech paths turn to #S2C (alphabet symbols) for that person? instead of teaching them gestalts, if that is always optimal AAC?
