Between his fingers we can see blood spraying from his mouth. Bruised: Sam is half-leaning away from the viewer, exposing his right side by lifting his arm. His torso, as well as the knuckles of the hand on his arm is bruised dark-purple and blue. Tied Up: we see Sam twisted away from the viewer, his face barely in view. He is tied up with thick rope, keeping his arms and hands firmly behind his back. He is topless, his trousers are undone and his boxers are showing. He is struggling, trying to escape his bonds. Blindfolded: front view of Sam, blindfolded with cloth. Someone else's hand, adorned with a wrist watch and a bejewelled ring, is roughly holding Sam's chin in place, the fingers digging into his skin. Sam is trying to lean away from this person. Scarred: 3/4 of Sam, he is looking at the viewer with a somewhat defiant expression. A scar runs vertically down his face, starting just above his left brow, cutting through it, across his eye and down to his cheek. That left eye is milky-white, clearly blind.

I'm still trying to work out why Sam Tyler was sent to 1973, but I get caught up in the story.
It's hard to know how I'd react if I was in his shoes.
