Very boring: a photo of law books that very specifically highlights that these are from the Canadian Legal Studies Series, so people see that they are real, and I got Canadian references. The book atop the pile is “Introduction to Public Law: Readings on the State, the Administrative Process, and Basic Values.” Told you it was boring! There isn’t even a cute tuxedo cat in the background. I can’t even put a joke in here because all the lawyer jokes I know involve killing them (though, weirdly, all the lawyers I know LOVE those jokes. Very self-destructive. Of course, they’re probably all masochists anyway because have you even read your Terms of Service?).
I am debating applying for a #SecondCareer program to become a #paralegal.
Then I remembered @ianrunkle.bsky.social saying “before you choose law, read the constitution.”
I’d have to get a librarian help me to find that. Instead, I came across #law books at the thrift store. Time to kill a dream!
