My red panda fursona and Porsha Crystal (from Sing 2) are celebrating Valentine’s Day and their anniversary on a romantic dinner date. They’re enjoying a plate of spaghetti and some champagne. Hearts are plastered on the restaurant windows to complement the Valentine’s Day theming. My fursona says, “Happy Valentine’s Day, sugar cookie.” To which Porsha replies, “Aww! Love you too, nutter butter!” ‘Sugar cookie’ and ‘Nutter butter’ are the pet names they call each other.

In 1938–1939 (in letter no. 13), he wrote to the publisher: "...as long as it was possible... to veto anything from or influenced by the Disney studios (for all whose works I have a heartfelt loathing)." “...provided that it is possible ... to veto everything that comes from Disney Studios or is under its influence (because I have a heartfelt aversion to all their work).” In other letters, he called Disney's work “disgusting,” said it made him feel “nauseous,” and considered Disney's talent to be “hopelessly corrupted.” He was particularly annoyed by the Disney gnomes in Snow White—he considered them simplistic, vulgar, and caricatured compared to the mythological gnomes he himself had carefully crafted in The Hobbit. Tolkien really disliked Disney and expressly forbade even considering the possibility of his works being adapted for the screen by that studio. As for me, I'm not disgusted by Robin Hood. I look at it as a child's candy in a pretty wrapper. I admire the character designs and animation. But I will never treat this as "Holy Canon" or an "infallible classic." Are you serious? This is pure commercialism. Half the scenes with Marian are copied from Snow White. Marian has 5 fingers, then 4. And you want to tell me there's any idea in this cartoon? "Rob the rich to feed the poor" – really? And at the end, Robin himself rides away in a golden carriage, dressed in gold. A funny, stupid fairy tale. Even morality was corrupted and trampled in the finale. Tolkien was right. Incidentally, Tolkien, like me, was inspired by his wife and gave her the most beautiful roles in his stories. Just as I give Marian the life of my wife and even my daughter. They are a real motivation for me. Marian in my hands is not commercialism, she is a pure image of living love.

- I want Zoo-ooh-ooh too! - Okay… Now ZOO-OOH-OOH with Porsha! Yes, Anya and I finally went to see Zootopia for New Year's, and I'll write up my thoughts on the film soon. Of course, I had a positive experience, so I plan to let Porsha perform with the star of Zootopia on stage.
While I was completely immersed in the Sherwood and Novgorod stories, Suki didn't consult me about the holiday events. Though, she did try — there are a few missed calls from her as proof. Let's just call it a surprise in honor of Zootopia 2's release. Yeah, it’s a bit confusing, but come on! What are assistant directors for, right? If Porsha wants to perform with Gazelle for our audience — why the hell not? (Yeah, this is just me lightly playing off a real-life moment — I went bankrupt on New Year gifts XD It’s temporary, though.) As for how Gazelle feels about PAS and why she asked to be paid partly with her membership: Gazelle is extremely wary of humans. In her opinion, humans are the strangest creatures on the planet. Despite being almost identical to each other (unlike the citizens of Zootopia), they somehow always find reasons for xenophobia and racial conflicts in every century. Furthermore, Sherwood's story will reference mass pogroms and genocide perpetrated by humans and the Church. Of course, throughout history, humans have repeatedly attempted to stigmatize anthros or control their populations through reservations. (Sherwood was one such project.) But to avoid mirroring the behavior of those she considers strange, she supports PAS’s ideas about equal rights and peaceful coexistence between beast-morphs, anthros, and humans. In our world, there aren’t many social funds that actually invest in such equality and peace. So for her, PAS is like an island of hope — its own little Zootopia where beast-folk and humans protect each other and keep the place safe together. She also highly appreciates PAS’s creative contribution to the shared history of our species living on one planet — through films where humans and anthros team up against xenophobic, Nazi-like evil. The number of her fellow beast-morphs who trust the organization and even work for it convinced her to get Gold Membership in PAS. Gold Membership gives her a ton of privileges.
