***NEW* The Arctic Circle Explorer** – This 8-day round-trip winter voyage starts in Tromsø and journeys deep into the Arctic Circle, and through Lofoten, Alta and Honningsvåg, with an optional excursion to visit the North Cape, the northernmost point of mainland Europe. Departures start in January 2028. **Learn more here**.
***NEW* The Arctic Line:** This 12-day north or 11-day south winter voyage sailing between Copenhagen and Tromsø traces the length of Norway’s coast, including Lofoten, the North Cape, and overnight stays in Alta and Tromsø. **Learn more here**.
Hurtigruten is also expanding into Iceland with three new trips. The first, the **Grand Nordic Adventure**, is a 19-day land and sea adventure encompassing Norway, Finland, and for the first time, Iceland, starting in Helsinki in July 2026, with a rail journey across Finland, a stay at the Santa Claus Hotel, hiking with huskies, and learning about the indigenous Sámi people. The journey also features a six-day Southbound Hurtigruten Coastal Express cruise from Kirkenes down to Bergen, before flying to Iceland. Prices start from $7,533pp, full board for the 19 days.
The second new tour, Nordic Winter Journey, starts in remote Finnish Lapland, which is the travellers’ first chance to see the Northern Lights, staying at a remote camp resort. They will also experience winter adventures in Finland, including snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and sleigh rides through Arctic landscapes. The 13-day guided tour also explores Sámi heritage, visits Inari and the SIIDA Museum, cruises the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, and includes a ride on the world-famous Flåm Railway, as well as the full Southbound Hurtigruten Coastal Express. Prices start from $5,371pp.
The new, summer-only Norway’s Capital and Coast tour combines the country’s charming capital, Oslo, with a six-day Southbound Hurtigruten Coastal Express cruise from Kirkenes down to Bergen and includes numerous UNESCO-listed natural and cultural wonders. A selection of Norway’s eight World Heritage sites is included along the route. Prices start from $3,517pp.
