A spraybow arcs below Tumalo Falls like a fleeting ribbon of color born from the waterfall’s mist, its translucent bands glowing against the evergreens and basalt cliffs; close enough to touch but made of water and light, it forms when sunlight pierces the plume of spray, scattering into delicate hues that shift with the wind, the angle of the sun, and the perspective of the viewer.
#TumaloFalls is a 90' waterfall a few miles outside #BendOR. I plan my waterfall trips around the best time of day and year to be able to capture the #spraybow and my planning paid off this time.
