SS United States now scheduled to leave Philly on Monday morning The historic ocean liner will first be towed from Pier 82 to Pier 80 on Friday afternoon. After the weekend, it will be pulled down the Delaware River.

SS United States Conservancy claims pier landlord blocked sale of historic ship despite eviction The Conservancy alleges that Penn Warehousing blocked the sale of the ship to Florida's Okaloosa County and attempted to negotiate its own sale of the vessel -- despite not owning it.

The fate of the SS United States in #Philly is still unknown. It’s turned into a landlord dispute with judges involved. They missed the original eviction deadline. Really hope this ship doesn’t end up being stripped for metal. #SSUS
