I did do a small practice before committing to it, and I was happy with the outcome, so I am needle felting this as I go!
You can just about see the line (indicated by my finger) where the felting has been done

Usually when I steek something, I will stabilise the stitches using crochet but this will be a long cardigan and I wanted an easier way to do this, and I realised that needle felting it would be a neat way to achieve this.

My current project is the only one I am currently working on, and it is going to be a long one - a big cosy cardigan for myself!
I was going to knit it flat, but I hate doing lots of purls, so I changed it to knitting in the round, which I will then steek.

Not there yet, but will be cutting my first steeked armholes in a week or so (hopefully). Just doing the knitters equivalent of girding my loins, which I guess is watching YouTube? 🧶
Arguing with Malabrigo because they showed a video of someone steeking a cardigan made with superwash yarn with no reference to the hem sewing you’d need to do to steek superwash safely?
Am I wrong?
Who has successfully steeked superwash without hemming??
