OK, I've finally finished installing a bunch of development tools... damn that takes forever.
And good news, I fixed a bunch of small platform issues, and #Stepwise now runs on Windows properly - I should be able to windows releases easily, and use WSL for linux too.

Tada! I've added prefab rooms with various shapes. Some of them are based on kanji, and have internals of glass tiles.
There's also "anchors" for the corridors to latch onto, so these will be interconnected into a proper floor.
It feels good getting stuff done.

Today, I've made the build scripts portable by rewriting them in python!
TL;DR it means you can set up a new dev environment or build a new release candidate with one line, regardless of platform. So, no unexpected hiccups in future - theoretically.

I did start tinkering this morning, then realized Python's Dict and Set use the non-deterministic hash function, and got a bit overwhelmed trying to find the solution...
So for the time being, procgen seeds aren't working as intended. Not happy.

My brother is playing #Stepwise, the first time he's tried it. He's giving me a bunch of useability issues, which I'm glad he can see.
Unfortunately he's also having to deal with the dog, because he's a PITA and just wants to cause a ruckus.

The second strata, up to floor 10, is now accessible, and the game is in a "clearable" state, in theory. I've also halved the difficulty of each monster's levels, because it was way too OP before. Added a 3rd tier of equipment. Half a dozen other fixes too.

Is it weird to be impressed by your own code?
For #stepwise, each floor of the dungeon is connected to the next with a stairway, and the floors are lazily generated as needed.
So a stairway essentially begins by pointing to a floor, but doesn't know *where* in that floor to send the player. /1
Somehow, swapping the dogleg corridors for overshoot corridors feels right for the gobbos. it was easy to add as well, which is a bonus.

Amulet is in a weird spot, but otherwise yay, the inventory is now being sorted, making it more user friendly. I also swapped the right side's dark text for the same text as the rest, so you're not straining to read it.

Baseline equipment coded and in place, I'll test them in practice next.
I'm... surprisingly satisfied with this. Yes, it's generic, but RLs need a kind of baseline to build out from, I think.
