He had had high hopes for the cities when they started developing. You couldn't get away with killing many people in a tight knit community before you had to move on - they'd come with their pitchforks and torches if you dallied. The way he did it couldn't easily be made to look like an accident, unfortunately; others of his kind could camouflage their acts as animal attacks, but not him. He had thought cities with their size and anonymity would be better, and they were, for a while, before they developed forensics and police. He just wanted to stop moving. #BubbleDrabbles
