A photo of a calico cat, sitting on big rocks under a spruce tree. The photo was taken from quite far away, and is cropped. This cat is older - we've seen her around before, but she only started coming for food around a month ago.
A photo of a grey-and-white cat, hunched over a bowl with kibbles in our yard, looking in the direction of the camera. We think it's a female, but haven't confirmed 100% yet. She has big ears and apart from the grey "bangs" on her otherwise white face, she also has a grey line going from her nose to where the "bangs" meet. We call her Fluffy. She seems to be very young.
A photo of a grey-and-white cat, lying in the sun on the ground not far from our porch. This one is more white than grey. We think it's a male. In this picture, he has his eyes half-closed, enjoying the sun.
A photo taken from behind the veranda door, of two cats on our stairs. One, a small calico cat, is licking a blue plate with the remains of wet cat food we gave her. She is seen from above, her back mostly orange-brown with black lines. Close to her is the grey tabby that often -but not always - accompanies her. He's looking at her, and is in the process of stepping down to a lower stair. They both seem to be very young. On the right you can also see my coffee-stained Pearson mug that I won in the raffle at a language teachers' conference.
Some blurry photos of our visiting strays, taken from a safe distance (or from behind the door), so as not to scare them away. There are some new ones, and some stopped coming. None are friendly enough to be approached yet, but we're working on it.
