The RB10 sitting on a stand, wheels off, front shocks off and disassembled. Behind it is a stack of tires and wheels, shock fluid, tire glue, various tools, and another RC car sitting in the background.

Rear shock picked up a lot of grunge, and I'm not talking about rock music from Seattle in the '90s!

All back together, with shocks dry on the outside, new tires mounted, and the car all shiny and clean, ready for practice laps!

Just a week & a half till the Race series starts up! Getting some maintenance done on the RB10. JConcepts Ellipse Tires to mount & 2 leaky shocks (1 front & 1 rear, of course!) so going to rebuild them all. Then get to the track this week to get some practice laps in. #teamassociated #RB10 #RCCar

Family Photo at the end with the OG RC10 Championship Car from the early 90s, the new 4WD and the RB10. The OG is painted yellow with purple 'van halen' style stripes. The RB10 is in a Red, Black, & white scheme from the factory. The 4WD is Purple with translucent yellow windows, and decals applied to look like the 'box art' car.

RC10 4WD Finished! Paints were Tamiya Sprays, Metallic Purple & Translucent Yellow, selected as a nod to my old car.
Now to get these guys to the local track!

RC10 4WD built, wheels on, electrics temporarily mounted, motor in and meshed. Just needs final connections soldered, and some suspension tweaks, and will be ready for test runs!

Made more progress today with my RC10 4WD! Tomorrow evening will solder connections, properly mount the rec and esc, and get her ready for maiden test runs this weekend! (And prep body shell for paint!)

RC10 4WD Gold Pan with the front end transmission, arms, driveshafts and shock tower installed. In the back the chassis stiffeners, rear bulkhead, shock tower and rear stealth transmission are all mounted. Drive belt is installed and adjusted.

Made a lot of progress on the RC10 4WD build today! Got the front assembled & installed, same with the rear, & have the belt installed and adjusted. Next up is rear arms, a ton of turnbuckles to build & adjust, & then on to the shocks.

Spent some time tracking down original screws, bolts, nuts, etc to get my old RC10 Championship Gold Pan car put back together! It's been living in a box disassembled for 25ish years! Felt great to see it running again!
